People inspire me with their stories; thus, the narratives that one creates can keep us stuck from moving forward to our fullest potential. Through my personal experiences and education, I inspire individuals to aspire and to find meaning in work and life by exploring the possibilities and creating authentic choices that resonate and connect with one's life purpose to greater clarity.

I earned my Bachelor of Psychology & Social Sciences and later completed my post-graduate studies in Human Resources Management. A curious learner, I continued my studies and obtained my certification as a Certified Professional Coach (CPC), a member of The International Coaches Federation (ICF) and, a designation as a Certified Professional Career Coach (PARW-CC)

Having spent twenty+ years in senior leadership roles as a Human Resource Professional, I realized all our stories could, at times, become our crutch and convince us that we are limited and not limitless. I craved balance with my busy career, and so, my journey began with yoga, mindfulness, and meditation through Reiki. Admittedly my Type A personality kept me stuck with trying to stay focused and present within the moment. Shortly after that, the affirmations of self-care and respecting my time, my body with movement was the mantra that kept me committed. This personal experience inspired me to become a Yoga Teacher and Reiki Master, realizing these modalities' healing benefits, I am passionate about sharing my gifts in a supportive space for students to explore yoga, meditation and mindfulness.

Yoga Defined

The word yoga is derived from the Sanskrit root yuj, meaning “to yoke, or “to unite”.   The practice aims to create union between body, mind and spirit, as well as between the individual self and universal consciousness.  Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras provide the traditional foundation of yoga, in which he outlines an eightfold path of the practice. Known as the ‘Eight Limbs of Yoga,’ this path offers a guide to individuals who are dedicated to creating a union between body, mind and spirit. Each of the Eight Limbs offers a means of living with more integrity, self-discipline, respect for nature and connection with the spiritual aspects of life.

Reiki

Reiki is the Japanese word for “Universal Life Force,” pure healing energy. While Reiki is gentle and non-invasive, it powerfully heals and accelerates the release of energetic impasses in the chakras (energy centers) thus opening the path to stress reduction, pain relief and freedom from mental and emotional blocks.

Reiki is a holistic technique, which does not interfere with other forms of health care. It accelerates the healing process and provides a source of restoring energy. Treatment is comfortable, deeply restorative, healing and peaceful. The pure flow of energy supports realignment within the body and subtle bodies. It clears energy obstructions and strengthens the flow of energy to a co-creative connection between body, mind, and spirit.
